Francie recently had a tumor removed from behind her left eye. Unfortunately her eye had to be removed as well. But she has recovered and is running around as lively as ever.

Ricki passed away in late 2008 after a brief struggle with intestinal cancer. Francie is doing fine in spite of her loss - please keep her in your thoughts and considering sponsoring this special needs gal!

Francie is a gorgeous seven year old chocolate sable girl, and her best friend Ricki is a four year old sable boy who recently passed away. We ended up here at FerretsFirst because our parents couldn’t take care of us anymore. We’re really no trouble at all (ok, well, we ARE ferrets). We can’t be adopted because Francie has fallen in love with shelter life and goes nutso if she leaves to live with someone else. We have a great life here though! We get to roam the shelter floor every day! But, we really need YOUR support to help cover the ongoing costs of our care. Won’t you help today by donating or volunteering?
