Update 5/10/2010 - Caesar has crossed the Rainbow Bridge after a long and happy life in foster care.
Caesar was abandoned in a cardboard box in front of a Petco store in the middle of the night in November of 2007. Some nice people brought him to us, and during his medical evaluation we determined that he likely suffered from insulinoma, and scheduled him for surgery. Our exotics vet removed some unusual looking masses from his pancreas and today he seems happy and healthy in his foster home. Due to his unusual illness, he’ll spend the rest of his life in foster care so we can keep a close eye on his health issues.
Our foster families provide for the day-to-day care and routine veterinary visits for the ferrets they foster. The rescue steps in and assists with surgeries or other major health issues, so we need your support in order to continue helping ferrets like Caesar. Won’t you help today?
