- FerretsFirst at Cherrydale Healthcare and Rehab:
A special group of FerretsFirst “therapy ferrets” has started visiting Cherrydale Healthcare and Rehab in Arlington, VA on a monthly basis where they share the joy of holding ferrets and watching them play with the Cherrydale residents. Many of the residents have never seen or touched ferrets before and watching their reactions and responses is priceless! Our rescue and foster home network is currently home to 22 special needs, elderly or hospice ferrets . We desperately need your support to help us provide these fuzzies with surgeries, medications and ongoing veterinary care!
Providing care for these ferrets can be quite expensive so we ask people to sponsor them. Sponsoring can take many forms. Some choose to send a one-time donation, some pledge money every month and others sponsor some or all of the medical care a ferret requires.
